Spot and Rintintin E-mail Accounts

Overview 

Some CU-Boulder faculty, staff, and students utilize other OIT servers such as spot.colorado.edu and rintintin.colorado.edu for e-mail and/or web page hosting. E-mail can be accessed through an e-mail program such as Outlook, or through a secure terminal program called Pine.

Change Your Password

You can change your password by logging into your account via a SSH terminal application and typing the command passwd. Or contact the IT Service Center for assistance.

Using Pine

Pine is a simple e-mail program you can use to check your e-mail through an SSH terminal application.

Migration to CULink or Exchange

Faculty, staff, and students who use ITS's other e-mail servers such as spot and rintintin can migrate their e-mail accounts manually to CULink. Contact the IT Service Center to do so.
