Service Restored: E-mail Sent to Yahoo Delayed

Service Restored at 8:45 a.m.:  This issue has been addressed, and Yahoo is no longer blocking e-mail from @colorado.edu accounts.

Service Issue Reported at 11:47 a.m.:  A campus e-mail account was recently targeted by malicious e-mail and producing spam. While OIT has addressed this specific situation, when this occurs, Internet Service Providers often temporarily block e-mail for security purposes. Yahoo is currently blocking e-mail sent from @colorado.edu to @yahoo.com or @ymail.com addresses. As a result, campus e-mail sent to these addresses will be delayed. OIT is working to address the situation, and more information will be posted here as it becomes available.
