Issue Resolved at midnight: The severed cable has been temporarily repaired and all services, including fire alarms in the Housing System Maintenance Center, have been restored.
Issue Update at 8:15 pm: Although the full impact of the severed cable in the Math building is not yet understood, we do know that fire alarms in the Housing System Maintenance Center are affected at this time. The contractor continues to work to repair the cable and more information will be posted here as it becomes available.
Issue Reported at 3:30 pm: A cable was accidentally cut in the Math building which could be affecting voice services, fire alarms and other services in and around the Math building. A contractor is on site and beginning immediate repair. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
