D2L - Enter Grades
- This tutorial is operating system independent.
Overview
If an instructor would like to enter grades for an assignment for all users in a single screen, this can be done using the Grades tool. This is most often used when an assignment has been graded outside of the D2L environment, but has an associated grade item in a D2L grade book. Follow the documentation below enter grades in this manner.
*Note: If you wish to enter scores, while viewing student submissions, for grade items created in Desire2Learn, please refer to the following tutorials:

Log into your course and from the Assessments drop-down menu click Grades.

Click on Enter Grades.

Click on the Grade All icon (ruler/checkmark) associated with the assignment.
*Note: You have the ability to enter scores for assignments directly in the Enter Grades section by clicking Switch to Spreadsheet View, if in Standard View, and then entering scores in an assignment's column. However, clicking on the grade item icon allows you to narrow your view and enter user scores for an individual assignment.

Enter grades for each student, then click Save.
