In order to install new uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), on Friday, December 2 there will be a number of brief network outages in specific buildings on campus (see Affected Buildings below). These new UPSs will help sustain network switches in these buildings during short-duration power outages, resulting in more reliable network services.
Each network and wireless connection in the affected buildings (see Affected Buildings below) will experience one or more 5-10 minute outages as network equipment is moved to these new UPSs.
