Service Restored: Enterprise Database

Description

The servers which provide database functions for many campus services will undergo an update on Thursday, November 3 making a number of online services unavailable including CUConnect, CU Boulder Identity Manager and Clicker registration (see the complete list below).

Impact

During the update users will be unable to login to CUConnect, CU Boulder Identity Manager, Clicker registration, Web Services, Northstar lookup services, Book Store data retrieval, QuickAdmit, SID to Username Service and Token Exchange, and other services will be delayed (see details under Affected Services).

Affected Services

CUConnect (cuconnect.colorado.edu), Identity Manager (cuidm.colorado.edu), Northstar (northstar.colorado.edu), CUClickers (cuclickers.colorado.edu). In addition, the following "web services" and applications that are related to UIS portals will be impacted: Book Store data retrieval, QuickAdmit (CEPS quick provisioning), Sid2UserNameService, TokenExchange (provides some single-sign-on access to other resources via the UIS student portal). Services delayed while enterprise database is down include: Rosters, CULearn Webgrade, CULearn TAC Powerlink Mail Routing Updates.
