CU-Boulder's Exchange service is designed to help faculty and staff collaborate more efficiently and effectively through a suite of services including email, campus-wide scheduling via the calendaring function, contact and directory data, task management and more. Exchange provides ubiquitous access to these features through desktop programs, web browsers, and mobile devices such as SmartPhones.
The migration of accounts from Exchange 2007 to Exchange Online is part of phase 2 of the Microsoft Office 365 project. Starting February 2015, campus units and departments began being migrated, on an individual basis. If your department has been migrated, please visit the Exchange Online service area for more information.
To assure the migration to Exchange Online is as seamless as possible and for the Office 365 project team to address migration issues.
Exchange 2007 is provided as a common-good service to all faculty, staff and student employees - which means there is no direct cost to the individual or department.
The CU-Boulder Exchange service is available to all CU-Boulder faculty and staff, and by request to those student employees who need to conduct official university business through email. Retirees are also eligible for Exchange accounts.
