Overview

The following documentation shows how to grade a quiz that was created and submitted from within Desire2Learn. This tutorial shows a quiz with a variety of questions some that are autograded and others that are manually graded.

*Note: If your quiz is completely autograded (ex. multiple choice quiz), then, most likely, the submission will go in the gradebook when a student submits their quiz. However, if you do not see grades appear in the grade book, you may not have selected the Auto Export to Grades: and Automatic Grade: checkboxes when creating your quiz. If this is the case you may have to manually export submissions to grades as is seen in step 10.

If you wish to enter grades for all students on a single screen please refer to the Enter Grades section of the Grades homepage. However, you will not be able to see student submissions from the single screen page.
