D2L - Add and Move Widgets on your Course Homepage
- This tutorial is operating system independent.
Overview
The following documentation shows the process of adding and moving a widget to your course homepage. This is useful for setting up how your homepage's appearance, organization, and content.

Step 1
Enter the course that you would like to add a widget to and click on Edit Course on the navigation bar.

Click Homepages.

Edit the applicable Homepage by clicking on its name in the Homepages section.
*Note: You cannot edit a default Homepage's layout. Only Homepages that you have created are customizable.

Step 4
Within the Edit screen click Add Widget in the panel that you would like the widget to be displayed within. You can add widgets to the Header, Left, Center, Right or Footer panels.

Select the widgets that you want to add to the homepage panel and click Add to apply the changes.
The widget will now appear on the homepage.

If you would like to rearrange your widgets, simply drag the widget to the desired location.

Your Homepage is now set with your new widgets and properties.
