On Monday, March 21 from 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., OIT will be updating our Federated Identity Service, the IdentiKey login system for certain web-based services (See Affected Services below). Once the update is complete, the next time a user logs in they will see their Digital ID Card and be prompted with release consent options. Digital ID Cards outline identifying information that is shared with the service(s).
Impact
No downtime is expected with this update. However, users will be prompted with release consent options. They have the option to provide consent for each login or store consent and not be prompted again (unless there is a change in the information). First-time users of a service will always be prompted for consent.
Affected Services
All services that rely on Federated Identity Services for authentication. Services include: MyCUHub (Salesforce), Qualtrics, VoiceThread, lynda.com, Career Buffs, HBO GO, etc.For More Information
