Service Restored 3:08 p.m., July 29: Microsoft engineers restarted the affected mailbox servers and monitored the service infrastructure to ensure full service restoration. A fix was deployed to prevent reoccurrence of this issue.

Service Issue Update 4:30 p.m., July 28: Further investigation by Microsoft's engineers have determined that a code issue has caused high resource utilization within a group of mailbox servers. Engineers have developed a fix and are preparing to deploy it to the affected infrastructure.

Service Issue Update 2:49 p.m., July 28: Microsoft engineers have identified the issue and are working to resolve. They will be restarting servers which could result in users being unable to connect to the Exchange Online service.

Issue Reported 1:01 p.m., July 28: There are reports of delayed email delivery for Office 365 Exchange Online accounts. Microsoft engineers are analyzing the affected infrastructure to determine the impact and more information will be posted here as it becomes available.
