Browser Update Notice March 2014

SEVERE

Mozilla and Google have released updated versions of their respective browsers. These updates address vulnerabilities that may allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, cause a denial-of-service condition, execute arbitrary code, operate with elevated privileges on an affected system, or lead to memory corruption.

Affected Software

The IT Security office advises owners of affected browsers to restart their browser or follow update instructions to facilitate updating.

  • Versions of Firefox prior to version 28
  • Versions of Google Chrome prior to version 33.0.1750.154 (Windows) and 33.0.1750.152 (Mac/Linux)
