Service issue updated at 4:30 p.m.: WWW Legacy and WWW NG sites' delivery of outbound email is no longer delayed. Email messages generated from these sites that were queued have been sent. OIT will continue to monitor the service throughout the evening.
Service issue updated at 3:30 p.m.: Email generated by WWW Legacy sites is no longer delayed. However, OIT has determined that the WWW Legacy sites email issue has also been affecting outbound mail delivery by WWW NG (next generation) sites (managed through Drupal). As a result, email generated by WWW NG sites may be currently experiencing a delay in delivery as the queue clears out.
Service issue reported at 12:45p.m.: It came to OIT's attention that, beginning sometime over the last 1-2 hours, WWW Legacy sites (sites that are edited through the OIT servers spot.colorado.edu and rintintin.colorado.edu and are stored in the /htdocs directory) were experiencing trouble sending outbound email. At this time, OIT believes that outbound email delivery functionality is restored, but outbound emails may still experience a delay in delivery as the queue is cleared out.
