Service restored at 7:00 p.m.: The emergency router maintenance is complete and all border routers were ugpraded successfully. Internet connectivity is no longer degraded and is expected to remain stable.
Service issue updated at 4:20 p.m.: The router manufacturer has identified a code issue that may have caused the border router at the Computing Center to fail over to the border router at the Technology Learning Center. As a result of this, OIT has scheduled an emergency upgrade of the border routers for 5:00 p.m. this evening. Please see our scheduled maintenance alert for more details, including impact.
Service issue reported at 3:10 p.m.: At approximately 3:10 p.m., Internet connectivity was disrupted for approximately five minutes. At this time, we believe Internet connectivity has been fully restored, but OIT is continuing to investige the root cause of this disruption.
