Service Restored at 3:00 p.m., January 6: Email from the colorado.edu domain to AOL is now also confirmed as being delivered in a timely manner.
Service Issue Updated at 10:00 a.m., Dec. 31: Email from the colorado.edu domain to Yahoo is now being delivered in a timely manner. AOL, however, still appears to be delaying delivery of email from the colorado.edu domain.
Service Issue Updated at 9:11 a.m., Dec. 28: AOL is now also delaying delivery of email from the colorado.edu domain, most likely as a result of out-of-office emails generated by the campus. This is a temporary condition that will eventually be resolved.
Service Issue Updated at 8:32 a.m., Dec. 27: It appears that Yahoo is throttling email from the colorado.edu domain as a result of out-of-office emails generated by the campus. Out-of-office emails have a blank sender field and that appears as suspicious to Yahoo. According to Yahoo, this is a temporary condition and will eventually clear.
Service Issue Reported at 7:50 a.m., Dec. 27: Delivery of outbound email from the colorado.edu domain to yahoo.com addresses is currently being delayed. OIT is investigating the situation and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
