Service restored at 11:45 a.m., December 5: The Network Registration service has been restored to full functionality. Network users should no longer receive prompts to re-register devices.

Service issue reported at 3:15 p.m.: The Network Registration service became backlogged earlier today around 9:00 a.m. triggering a need for many to re-register their devices to access the campus wireless network. In addition, people with Open Access exceptions are also being asked to register. This is because they are exempted based on MAC address and MAC addresses are not currently being processed properly. As the backlog is processed, the service is expected to slowly return to normal. The vendor has been engaged to help determine what needs to be done to prevent this from happening in the future.
