Service fully restored at 4:45 p.m, Thursday, September 12: OIT staff have been able to restore full functionality to the Exchange Email and Calendaring service and we are no longer at heightened risk for an outage.

Service issue updated at 4:18 p.m., Thursday, September 12: The situation in the Computing Center Data Center remains unchanged: the Exchange Email and Calendaring service is stabilized, and no service outage has occurred. However, because the risk of an unplanned outage remains heightened until OIT staff, weather permitting, are able to restore full functionality to the service, this alert will remain open for timely updates should the situation change.

Service issue updated at 10:45 p.m.: The situation in the Computing Center Data Center has been stabilized, and no Exchange Email and Calendaring service outage occurred. However, because the risk of an unplanned outage remains heightened, OIT will continue to monitor the situation throughout the evening and we will leave this service alert open should the need for further updates arise.

Service issue reported at 8:32 p.m.: CU Boulder's Exchange Email and Calendaring service is currently at risk of an unplanned outage due to a degraded physical state of the Computing Center Data Center where the servers are hosted. OIT staff are addressing the issue at hand and we will update this service alert if Exchange becomes unavailable.

Impact

Exchange is currently available and is only at risk of an unplanned outage.
