Overview

This document shows how to install PGP on Intel-based Mac

Before you begin

  1. You must be running either Mac OS 10.5 or Mac OS 10.6 (Intel Platform)

  3. Make sure you have an Intel-based Mac. PGP will NOT work on a PowerPC Mac.
  4. Admin access is required for installation.
  5. Encryption can take a long time depending on your disk size, from several minutes to several hours. Make sure your computer will have adequate time to perform this task uninterrupted.
