1. When JMP is not yet licensed, or an old license has expired:
- Open JMP. The application should prompt you for a new license file (SID file) at launch.
- Navigate to the license (SID) file and select it. JMP should then process the license file and run normally.
- You're done. (You can now delete that SID file.)
- If you had trouble with these steps (November-January) then try (2.):
2. Update JMP License Before Expiration
- Download the appropriate current JMP license (SID) file, and note which folder it is downloaded into.

- Run the script by selecting the following menu command: Edit --> Run Script, or click on the "Run Script" icon.
- JMP will ask for the new license data file (SID file).
- Navigate to the license file and select it. JMP should then process the license file and run normally.
