Microsoft has released updates to address multiple vulnerabilities. The updates address condition that, if left unpatched, could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code, cause a denial of service, or gain unauthorized access to your files or system.
The IT Security Office advises applying the updates as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT severity includes virus and local exploits for commonly used services.
