Description 

Service Restored at 2:42 p.m.:  The technical issues with Microsoft Exchange e-mail have been adressed, and the service is restored.

Service Issue Updated at 11:49 a.m.:  Users are continuing to report technical issues, and OIT has reopened this Service Alert and continues to investigate the situation. Some PC and Macintosh users are continuing to experience issues logging into Microsoft Exchange e-mail through Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail. More information will be posted here as it becomes available. As a workaround, users can access their e-mail using campus Outlook Webmail Access:  http://www.colorado.edu/oit/exchange.

Service Restored at 11:33 a.m.:  The technical issues with Microsoft Exchange have been addressed, and university e-mail through Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail is again available to all users. Some users may receive a login error; those who do can clear it by restarting Outlook. Should you have any questions, please call the Service Center at 303-735-4357 (5-HELP).

Service Issue Updated at 10:39 a.m.:  OIT has rebooted an affected server as a step to address the technical issues with Microsoft Exchange that are causing some users to be unable to access their university e-mail on their computers, using Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail. The reboot may cause some users to have to log in again to their e-mail. If you continue to experience problems with e-mail, please call the Service Center at 303-735-4357 (5-HELP).

Service Issue Updated at 7:50 a.m.:  The technical issues with Microsoft Exchange are affecting some PC users as well as Macintosh users. OIT continues to investigate the issue, and more information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Service Issue Reported at 7:23 a.m.:  Technical issues have been reported with Microsoft Exchange e-mail that are affecting Macintosh users. As a result, Macintosh users are unable to access their university e-mail on their computers using the Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail applications. Macintosh users are, however, able to access their university e-mail using a synchronized mobile device or via web mail, through the browser. OIT is investigating the issues, and more information will be posted here as it becomes available.
