CU Boulder is committed to fostering an accessible campus environment and offers a host of universal design resources and services to help you ensure your content is accessible for all learners. As a new semester starts, here are the tools, services and learning opportunities that instructors and content developers will find most useful.
Universal Design and Introduction to Accessible Materials: a video explanation of the principles of universal design.
Universal Design Checklist for Educators: the principles and tools that can help to ensure that you are implementing Universal Design in your courses.
Universally Designed Syllabus Materials: resources to ensure your syllabi are accessible and easily understood by all learners.
Captioning: guidance and resources to make your videos accessible.
Accessibility Learner’s Lunches are on Fridays from 12pm to 1pm in TLC 215. Bring your lunch and your laptop and get ready to learn a new skill! Universal Design open office hours are on Tuesdays from 9am to 11am in TLC 198. Be sure to check the Universal Design service calendar for specific Learner’s Lunch topics and any updates or changes to regular events.
