Host-based Intrusion Detection Software	Server administrators	Host-based intrusion detection software is required on all private data servers and recommended for all Internet facing servers. OIT provides two no-cost solutions: Tripwire for Windows, Linux and Unix servers. OSSEC for Macintosh.
