Overview 

CUAccess authentication and authorization service makes managing access to campus web resources secure and specific.

Features 
  • Authentication mechanism for web sites and applications.
  • CUAccess agent is installed on customer's web server.
  • Not available for sites on www.colorado.edu.
Benefits 
  • Access management taken out of the website.
  • Web designers can concentrate on content; not access.
  • Access decisions are made by whomever is managing the site.
  • Uses IdentiKey and the Enterprise Directory (ED).
  • OIT manages the administration of policies, so you don't have to.
Cost 

CUAccess is provided as a common-good to the campus which means there is no direct cost to you or your department.

Who can get it 
  • CU-Boulder faculty and staff.
How to get it 

Follow the guidelines below and submit your request form to sdeliver@colorado.edu. OIT will contact you and work with you directly to install a CUaccess enforcer on your web server and help you set your access policies.
