IT Service Center Computer Support

Computer support offers hardware diagnosis and repair, as well as software support and other technical services on a walk-in basis, such as configuration, installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. IT Service Center General Support

General support offers assistance with OIT's services, including e-mail and IdentiKey, Internet connectivity, telephone service, and technology-related questions.

IT ServiceCenter Hours

Monday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Friday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m.

Walk-in facility

  • Fall and spring hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Summer hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

*The IT ServiceCenter is always closed during regular campus holidays.

Report Abuse and Harassment

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at the University of Colorado Boulder does not approve or support the sending of harassing e-mail messages or unsolicited e-mail by its users, and we will take appropriate action against our users if they commit these violations. Learn more about how to report abuse or harassment.

Report a Lab Problem

If a problem arises with a workstation or lab itself we wish to hear about the issue. For non-emergency issues please use OIT Lab Maintenance Request page to report a problem (learn more). Non-emergeny issues include but are not limited to:

  • Computer not turning on or not responding to user input
  • Software application not launching or quitting unexpectedly
  • Not being able to login to a computer
  • Problems with the lab printer including a printer in need of paper or toner

If a problem affects a whole lab in a way that makes the lab unusable or if the majority of computers in a lab are experiencing problems, call the IT Service Center. Make sure to provide your name and contact information and state that the problem is with an OIT computing lab and give the name of the building and room number.
