These services range from support for your desktop computer to licensing programs for the software that runs on your desktop. See below for details.

| Antivirus Software | Faculty, staff, and students | Recommended, no-cost, antivirus software for safe-guarding your computer and data from viruses and worms. |
| Encryption Software | Faculty and staff | PGP whole-disk encryption to protect sensitive data (such as student records) at rest on laptops and external hard drives. Available at no cost and can be downloaded from the OIT website. |
| Private Data Search Software | Faculty and staff | Instructions for and access to software which will scan your computer for private data to help protect against unauthorized exposure of private and/or sensitive information. |
