Summary: Authors review features of Google+ and consider what parts of Google+ might support teaching and learning in general and in a Marketing course.
While Google has had great success in areas like search and YouTube; it seems to have had limited success in the social space. From their Orkut purchase in 2006, to their launch of Google Wave in 2009, and on to their Google Buzz launch in 2010; they seem to be searching for a killer app in the social space. Their latest offering incorporates elements of Orkut, Wave, and Buzz; but in a more compelling interface and with a strong network of users in their Google+ service. Initial reviews have been positive.
