Project management is an important yet small part of the larger service engineering process which encompasses lifecycle management of services including the projects that produce IT services for the campus.
Enabling the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to quickly and effectively deliver and support the right strategically aligned IT projects and services using the right resources.
The mission of the OIT PMO is to be a trusted strategic business partner to our OIT and CU users and stakeholders. Our primary responsibilities are to provide clear project prioritization, standardization, and visibility for all major OIT projects and to strive for project management excellence through the use of consistent, lightweight (“just enough”) methodologies, processes, training, and tools.
