The goal of the Office of Information Technology (OIT), is to provide the CU-Boulder campus with innovative, customer-focused IT support and core IT services. Under the leadership of the Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for IT and CIO, OIT seeks to foster partnership and collaboration with academic, research, and administrative units in order to create a robust, best-in-class IT environment.
OIT exists to provide reliable, integrated, and innovative IT services in support of education, research, scholarship and creative work.
OIT will be a nationally recognized center of excellence in leveraging information technology to stimulate learning and discovery in a global context.
To ultimately achieve our Vision, we will focus our activities during the next 3 years on achieving a minimum of a 90% satisfaction rate among select clients of the OIT as related to the delivery & support of Academic Technology, Research Computing, and Administrative Computing services.
OIT services provide the highest possible value per expenditure of funds, efforts, and resources available to the University stakeholders, which will be continuously confirmed through the quantitative assessment of customer feedback, service data, and benchmarked comparisons with similar organizations.
Our mission is to provide and promote cohesive and coordinated IT services and support that facilitates the creation, management, and dissemination of information to advance the campus’s teaching, learning, and research mission as well as to partner with other campus IT professionals to provide effective leadership and IT solutions for the campus’ changing IT environment.
