Description
OIT will build a central federated identity service to support the business need to inter-operate with external parties for providing academic and administrative services. This project will implement Shibboleth federated services as a production service.
Customer Benefit
Once implemented, Shibboleth, a service standards based, open source software package for web single sign-on access, will allow departments to make informed authorization decisions for individual access of protected online resources in a privacy-preserving manner.
