Admitted/New Students

The CU Boulder campus is a beautiful place to pursue a challenging and rewarding education.  We look forward to meeting you and serving you during your time here! The links below will provide you with detailed information to help you arrive successfully and attend the MANDATORY International Orientation and Immigration Check-in for the Fall 2014 semester.

For students arriving for the Fall 2014 semester:

International Undergraduate Orientation begins on Friday, August 15, 2014 until Thursday, August 21, 2014.
International Graduate Orientation is Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

*Please keep in mind when making travel arrangements that you MUST arrive to Boulder to attend your mandatory orientation program.

All new and transfer international undergraduate students enrolling in the Fall 2014 semester will complete the Immigration Check in with ISSS during their Orientation program, August 15-22, 2014.

All exchange students will complete the Immigration Check in with ISSS on Thursday, August 21,2014 AND attend the required Graduate Orientation program on August 23, 2014 in the MATH building (room 100) from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Note that exchange students attend CU based on reciprocal contracts with international universities--they usually study at Boulder only for one semester or academic year.  If you will receive your degree from CU Boulder, you are not an exchange student.

All graduate students must sign-up for an Immigration check-in session AND attend the required Orientation program on August 23, 2014. Registration for the Immigration Check-In Session is required.

New international students are required to attend the International Student Orientation that is appropriate for your level of study, see below:  This is when you will get critical information and advice that will help you adjust and avoid common difficulties!  You will have a chance to meet other new and continuing international students.  

Required: International Undergraduate Student Orientation: All new UNDERGRADUATE, including transfer students!
