Fee Exceptions

EXCEPTIONS TO THE PROGRAM FEE OUTLINED ABOVE:
The charges for the the supplemental fee assessed for the optional Special Project/Independent Study/Directed Research Project available on selected programs are not included in the program fee you pay to CU-Boulder. A bill for these charges will be sent to you by CIEE and are paid directly to CIEE. *** If a student chooses to do two consecutive CIEE programs, a discount is deducted from the second program fee. This discount will be deducted from the second program fee payment upon receipt of notification from CIEE.

Withdrawal Policy

If for any reason you withdraw before or during the course of the program, CU-Boulder's Office of International Education and CIEE must be notified in writing. If you neglect to put your withdrawal notification in writing, you will be charged the full program fee regardless of when you withdraw. Upon receipt of written notification, the withdrawal fee will be calculated according to the following schedule. Refunds will be calculated from the day the notification is received at the CIEE office in Maine. The amounts shown on the schedule represent the costs of the program to date. If more than the amount listed below has been paid, a refund will be made for the overpayment. If a balance is still due, that amount must be paid to CU-Boulder.
