Email Lists

We encourage all international students to get an email account, which is available for free through the University. You can either go to the Telecommunications office (first floor) to set up an account or you can set up an account via the web at the Plus page. You will need to know your PIN number (personal identification number) if you set it up via the web.

The FS-Adviser is the email list used for weekly postings by our office. You cannot post messages to it, but you can send messages to us at: adviser@spot.colorado.edu

To subscribe yourself to the FS-Adviser, do the following:

1. Address an e-mail message to: listproc@lists.colorado.edu
2. In the body of the message write: subscribe fs-adviser (Your First Name) (Your Last Name )
3. Send the message.

To Subscribe to cu-foreignstudents:

1. Address an email message to: listproc@lists.colorado.edu
2. In the body of the message write: subsribe cu-foreignstudents (Your First Name) (Your Last Name)
3. Send the message

If you would like to unsubscribe to any of these lists, follow the above instructions, but write in the body of the message: "unsubscribe (name of list)".

We encourage everyone to remain on the FS-Adviser list, as this is the main method we use to disseminate information to all the international students. Please contact our office if you should have any questions.
