NAFSA: Association of International Educators just released an updated report on the economic impact of international students in the U.S.  They found that international students contributed $24 billion to the U.S. economy during the 2012-2013 academic year supporting 313,000 jobs.  The contribution of international students in Colorado was $280,969,000,000 which supported 4,210 jobs.  CU-Boulder international students' portion was $58,024,000 and their presence supported 988 jobs.

The CU-Boulder Office of International Education provides advising, assistance, and support to our international students.  We enthusiastically support our international students who bring diversity (academic diversity, cultural diversity, and more) to our campus and who help us to cultivate long-term international understanding amongst our students, faculty, and staff.
