Mission Statement

The mission of the University of Colorado at Boulder (UCB) requires an open working and living environment free of discrimination and harassment for students, faculty, staff and administrators. UCB does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation or veteran status in admission and access to, and treatment and employment in, its educational programs and activities. 

In support of the campus's mission and in accordance with our policies, the Office of Discrimination and Harassment is committed to preventing and eliminating discrimination and harassment based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation or veteran status at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Additionally we strive to prevent and eliminate false allegations of discrimination and harassment. To achieve these goals, we provide educational workshops for all members of the University community, including faculty, staff, and student employees. We conduct fair and unbiased investigations and provide equitable resolutions of allegations of discrimination and harassment. We treat all individuals who seekk our assistance with respect and dignity.
