NASA has updated their process and requirements for No-Cost Extensions. There are two specific changes that are significantly different than in the past.
- All NASA No-Cost Extensions must attach the most recent progress report.
- All requests must be submitted within 30 days prior to the last day of the Period of Performance. With this update, OCG can now only submit the request between 10 and 30 days prior to the last day of the Period of Performance on a NASA grant.
Please be aware that these restrictions are being enforced by NASA, and that the monitoring of these grants and there extensions will need to be closely followed for awards requiring an extension. Should you have any questions, please send an email to your Grant Officer or ocggrants@colorado.edu.
