In May, the infoEd Proposal Development (PD) team worked through the technical details and settings in infoEd and Grants.gov to successfully submit several test proposals directly from infoEd to a Grants.gov test site. This significant milestone confirmed the technical ability to submit proposals between the two systems without the need for an additional interface.

Additionally, the team worked with infoEd to configure a baseline prototype for Proposal Development. This prototype development included customizing proposal setup questions and configuring the first draft of a web based Proposal Submission Request (PSR) form. With the prototype complete, the PD Core Team is working on continued customizations for CU business processes and requirements.

The project continues to target a 2018 completion with a limited pilot submission to Grants.gov. The infoED PD project is a joint project between OCG, the Research & Innovation Office, Office of Information Technology (OIT), and University Information Systems. Visit the OCG website for more information regarding this project.
