Located in Norlin Library Room S436, the Undergraduate Academy (UA) is the physical home of Special Undergraduate Enrichment Programs (SUEP). SUEP include: Boettcher Scholars, Norlin Scholars, and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). As associated program, Top Scholarship Advising, is also housed in S436. We’re located on the west side of Norlin Library and our offices are difficult to find. Directions follow. Please print them out if you intend to visit!

For those who can access our office by foot:
Enter Norlin library on the west (mountain) side. Take the right hand stairs up 2 1/2 floors, following signs to Undergraduate Enrichment Programs and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). Eventually you take a sharp right into a small hallway. Norlin S436 is at the end of it. Come into Norlin S436, a large lounge area.

If you cannot access our office by foot you need to do one of two things: 1) entering Norlin Library on the west (mountain) side take the elevator to the 4th floor and then take the lift to the 4th ½ floor (this is easiest) OR from the east side of Norlin take the elevator to the third floor, find your way to the northwest side and take the elevator up to the 4th floor and then take the lift to the 4 ½ floor. Details below.

1) Coming in the west entrance you’ll see a glassed in study area in front of you. The elevator is in an alcove just to the left of this area. Go up to the 4th floor. Exit the elevator to the left and wind your way down the white hallway. There is a lift ramp in your view immediately. Do not use that lift. Turn right and keep walking until you get to a second ramp entrance to the second lift. Lift instructions are below.

2) From the east door take the elevator up to the third floor. Upon exiting the elevator go right heading to the west side of the library. Go through the Government Publications part of the library, take a right, and go down the hallway until you get to another elevator. Take the elevator to the 4th floor. Exit the elevator to the left and wind your way down the white hallway. There is a lift ramp in your view immediately. Do not use that lift. Turn right and keep walking until you get to a second ramp entrance to the lift. Lift instructions are below.
