The Golden Buffalo Battalion of Army ROTC uses effective classroom and practical "hands-on" training to prepare our highly motivated cadets to receive their commission as Second Lieutenants in the United States Army. The Army ROTC course curriculum cuts across traditional subject boundaries. It involves elements of various disciplines and encourages students to integrate academic training with the problem-solving and decision-making challenges they will encounter as junior officers in the Army of the 21st century. Field exercises, guest speakers, and specialized military training supplement the formal curriculum.
We assist students in becoming the future leaders of the United States Army by developing their leadership abilities and instilling responsibility, integrity, and a sense of pride and accomplishment. During classes and field training, cadets learn first-hand what it takes to lead others, motivate groups, and how to conduct missions as an Army Officer.
