Join CU at the MAVEN launch this fall

Join us this fall for a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to be a part of CU-Boulder’s mission to Mars! The university will be hosting three fun-filled days of festivities Nov. 16-18 in Cocoa Beach, Fla., culminating in MAVEN’s launch. Space is limited for the launch viewing, and NASA requires we submit a list of tentative guests months in advance. All attendees MUST be registered with us by June 30 to be on NASA’s guest list.

CU-Boulder’s biotechnology building earns local green award

The 336,800-square-foot Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building this week received a Boulder Valley Green Building Award. The impressive facility was recognized for consolidating many high-energy-use campus laboratories into a single, energy-efficient building.

CU records highest NCAA APR rate for 3rd straight year

The University of Colorado Academic Progress Rate (APR) report based on information for the four year period between 2008-09 and 2011-12 was released by the NCAA Tuesday with those of all other Division I schools, with CU reporting good news for all 16 of its intercollegiate athletic programs. For the third consecutive year, the APR rates are the highest in school history since the program was created nine years ago. More>>

1st annual Women's Club Ice Hockey golf tournament June 29

Come out and support the Women's Club Hockey Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, June 29, at the Colorado National Golf Club, 2700 Vista Parkway in Erie. The price is $100 per player ($400 per foursome), and includes 18 holes of golf in a four person scramble; unlimited range balls; golf cart fees; complimentary coffee and BBQ lunch. Human Resources Department closed June 20
