CU-Boulder welcomes class of 2017 with Admitted Student Day

On Saturday April 6, thousands of bright and eager incoming freshmen and their families arrived on the University of Colorado Boulder campus for Admitted Student Day. The day consists of information sessions, open houses, tours, receptions and an information fair. 

“CU is so beautiful and I liked all the programs and opportunities,”  said incoming freshman Erin Berry.

Your student government: CUSG spring elections underway

The polls for the spring 2013 University of Colorado Student Government election are now open. CU-Boulder students can cast their vote ballots at MyCuInfo.Colorado.edu. Polls will close on Thursday, Aprill 11, at 8 p.m., and preliminary election results will be announced Thursday night after the polls close.

Stampede event to bring social responsibility out of boardroom, into community April 15-19

Ethics and values are indispensable within the workforce, so state the world's top CEOs. Now the campus community and the public get an opportunity to see how CU-Boulder's Leeds School of Business is elevating social responsibility in educating the next generation of business leaders during the inaugural CESR Stampede April 15-19.

Residence Hall Association Spring Fair April 12

Everyone wants to run around in a human hamster ball and on a bungee jump, right? Join the Residence Hall Association's (RHA) Spring Fair on Friday, April 12, from 4-7 p.m. on the Engineering Quad Lawn. There will be cotton candy, a face painter, carnival games, prizes, and inflatables as well as fun carnival-themed food and a photo booth in the C4C dining area. Don't miss out on this great event.

2013 Day of Service: Wanted project leaders and task captains

The Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) is seeking project leaders and task captains for the 2013 University of Colorado Day of Service.

Day of Service is a new program with the goal of introducing first-year CU-Boulder students to ongoing volunteerism by connecting them to the resources and long-term needs of the campus and surrounding communities. 

South Park animation director Eric Stough at CU April 11

Join the CU International Film Series for a screening of the South Park episode "A Nightmare on Face Time" on Thursday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Visual Arts Complex Basement Auditorium (1B20).

The screening will be introduced by South Park animation director Eric Stough, who will then follow-up afterwards with both a Q&A and behind-the-scenes presentation that will show you how that specific South Park episode was made.

Student tickets are $6 with Buff OneCard, and go on sale 30 minutes before the show.

Counseling and Psychological Services seeking volunteers

Counseling and Psychological Services is seeking applicants for volunteer positions, which offer a great way to explore careers in psychology, counseling, higher education and other health service professions.

Come learn how the CU Cleantech Market Assessment Program helps researchers understand the potential to commercialize their research/idea. Six technologies will be showcased by the teams who assessed their market potential. Join us for all or part of the event, which includes a poster session and formal presentation. Learn how you can get involved in next year's program.
