Chancellor's Corner: Continuing our efforts to end the 4/20 gathering

I want to take this opportunity to inform you that the CU-Boulder campus will once again be closed to non-affiliates on April 20. We are continuing this approach, begun last year, to ensure that the business of the campus continues without being materially disrupted, and that our teaching, research and academic work and other university operations can proceed.

CUSG advocates for sustainable solution to 4/20 gathering

Over the past few months, CU Student Government (CUSG) has been working with administrators to plan for the upcoming 4/20.

To best represent students, CUSG convened a task force of student leaders from areas across campus to work to develop ideas for short-term and long-term plans for 4/20. The conversations we had with administrators and students have been productive and have established long-term working relationships that will serve students in future years.

CU-Boulder closed to unauthorized visitors, non-affiliates on Saturday, April 20

The University of Colorado Boulder announced today it will be open to students, faculty and staff on Saturday, April 20, but for the second straight year will be closed to unauthorized non-affiliates.

CHSAA campus traffic advisory: March 14-16

CU will host the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) tournament at Coors Events/Conference Center Thursday, March 14 - Saturday, March 16. Increased traffic is anticipated on campus in roadways and parking lots beginning at 12 p.m.-11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. on Saturday.

Fashion For a Cause fashion show March 14

CU's Fashionistas, Inc. student organization has partnered with Fashion For A Cause to host a charity fashion show and silent auction on Thursday, March 14, from 7-9 p.m. in UMC 235.

Film Screening of 'Ayat Ayat Cinta' (The Verses of Love)

Project Nur will host a screening of "Ayat Ayat Cinta" (The Verses of Love), an Indonesian romance in which the story’s Muslim protagonists must navigate the difficulties of living according to moral ideals in the real world. The screening will be held in Hellems 201 on Wednesday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served during the course of the film and a discussion will follow.

'U.S. Foreign Policy Challenges II: A Regional Project for Europe,' March 14

The Colorado European Union Center of Excellence at the University of Colorado Boulder will present the panel discussion "U.S. Foreign Policy Challenges II: A Regional Project for Europe" on Thursday, March 14, from 5-8 p.m. at History Colorado, 1200 Broadway in Denver.
