CU-Boulder officials unveil $170 million athletic facilities upgrade proposal for CU’s Board of Regents

University of Colorado Boulder Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano, Athletic Director Mike Bohn and new head football coach Mike MacIntyre today unveiled a $170 million, multi-year proposal to upgrade CU-Boulder’s football facilities before the Intercollegiate Athletics subcommittee of the CU Board of Regents at the board’s monthly meeting in Colorado Springs.

CU-Boulder announces four finalists for dean of College of Music

University of Colorado Boulder Provost Russell L. Moore today announced the four finalists selected for the position of dean of the College of Music.

CU-Boulder Property Services will have our auction of surplus property/equipment to the public on Saturday, Mar. 2, 2013. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 is set aside specifically for departmental viewing. This is to give CU-Boulder departments a chance for good deals on surplus items before they go on sale to the public. Please contact Property Services for an appointment. RealColors Workshop - Mar. 14

For centuries, people have searched for ways to peek into the human mind. The Greek philosopher, scientist and physician, Hippocrates wrote that all human beings could be divided into four distinct personality types. Real Colors is an instrument based on the more modern Temperament theories developed by David Keirsey. It is designed to help people recognize, accept, learn to value and understand human behaviors to improve empathy and communication in the workplace.

Alumni Association Award Nominations

You’re invited to recognize a deserving Buff by nominating her or him for one of the 2013 CU-Boulder Alumni Association Awards, which honor alumni, faculty and staff from the Boulder campus. These awards are one of the university’s longest-standing traditions. Award nominations are due by Tuesday, Mar. 26. A ceremony honoring awardees will take place Thursday, Oct. 24 in conjunction with Homecoming weekend.

Wednesday viewing of Five Broken Cameras as part of on-going Palestinian Lives Film Series

On Wednesday, Feb. 20 the Boulder-Nablus Sister City Project in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Center for Peace and Justice will be showing 5 Broken Cameras as a part of the on-going Palestinian Lives Films Series. The screening will take place at 7 p.m. in Duane  and be followed by a discussion.
