NBC News' Tom Costello to speak at CU Feb. 26

Students will have an exclusive opportunity to meet one of the country's most prolific broadcast journalists, Tom Costello (Jour'87), on Tuesday, Feb. 26, when he presents "Breaking the News with Tom Costello." A free reception with food will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by Costello's talk at 7 p.m. The event will be held in Eaton Humanities room 1B50.

From Mozart to Mos Def

Not just anyone can vividly trace a thread weaving through a zebra’s stripes, a partly crumbling brick wall, a Jackson Pollock painting, a Mozart piano sonata, Dr. Seuss’ “Fox in Socks,” Gwendolyn Brooks’ “We Real Cool,” and even a rap duet by Mos Def and Slick Rick. CU-Boulder’s Adam Bradley can, and the students along for his literary road trip seem to relish the ride. That’s the point.
