Staff Council Update: You can help save a life

Losing Ground discussion: Equality Since the Civil Rights Era

An eye-opening conversation on why the disparity gap has significantly widened since the Civil Rights era on issues of health, education, criminal justice, poverty, etc. Following 18 months of intensive research, national news investigators from I-News Network have uncovered startling new data that shows how equity and racial attainment have plummeted for communities in Colorado and on the national front. Smokers' Quit Group (Smoking Cessation Support Group)

Group counseling focused on building motivation and behavior change has been proven successful in supporting the smoker who is trying to quit or who is actively quitting. Have you picked a ‘quit date’? In need of support while you quit ‘cold turkey’ or with the help of medications or quit aids? Join FSAP staff and other quitters for a weekly Quit Group. This program is open to CU-Boulder employees and meets every Wednesday at the UMC over lunch.
