Gold Biosciences Building renamed for longtime intellectual and personal contributor to CU

The MCD Biology Building on campus, long known to house outstanding research and teaching, has been renamed the Gold Biosciences Building in honor of University of Colorado Professor Larry Gold, an internationally known scientist whose research there over decades has spawned numerous discoveries and commercially successful biotechnology patents.

Staff Council Update: Workplace bullying expert to present workshops and lecture

Wayne State University Professor Loraleigh Keashly, an internationally recognized scholar on workplace bullying, will visit the University of Colorado Boulder campus to present two bystander training workshops in addition to a CU Women Succeeding Symposium presentation.

Broadway improvement project receives awards for collaboration and innovation

The City of Boulder’s Broadway (Euclid to 18th) Transportation Improvements Project has received two awards, one from the Colorado Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and another from the Colorado Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), in recognition of the city’s collaborative and innovative approach to the project.

CU-Boulder engineering students to unveil grand orrery on Feb. 11

A scaled, working model of the solar system built by engineering students at the University of Colorado Boulder will be officially unveiled at Andrews Hall on Feb. 11.

Frozen Foot 5K

Frozen Foot 5K

On Sunday, Feb. 24, put on your running/walking shoes and challenge the winter weather in the Frozen Foot 5K. You can also challenge yourself against some members of your 2012 Collegiate Triathlon National Champions, on a fast, flat, 3.1 mile course through the beautiful CU-Boulder campus. The course begins and ends in front of Folsom Stadium. Awards ceremony and expo will follow the race!

US 36 commuters wanted to participate in travel behavior survey
