This month, the Wardenburg Health Center is seeing unusually early confirmed flu activity. Students have been quite sick, often with very high fevers. The flu strain (H3N2) that is circulating is generally associated with more severe flu symptoms. Flu shots are available on campus at Wardenburg Health Center for students, staff, and faculty on a walk-in basis (no appointment necessary) Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The CU Hiking Club is sponsoring a Wilderness First Responder Class for students and community members, during the Spring 2013 semester. The 80-hour course typically costs over $800 and is being offered at an introductory discounted rate through the CU Hiking Club.
