CU GOLD's 5th Annual Student Leadership Conference is now accepting applications for speakers and presenters. Our theme this year is "The Leading Edge" and we are looking for interactive presentations and workshops that fall into five categories: Technology, Environment, Social Justice, Entrepreneurship,or Communication. If you, a peer, a mentor, a professor, or a student organization is interested, please visit our website and fill out an application. Applications are due Nov. 9 by 5 p.m.
There will be an Israel flag display on Norlin Quad from Oct. 29-Nov. 1, along with an information tent. Students for Israel, Christians United for Israel, and JSA will be at the tent to give out free goodies and educate students on cultural aspects of Israel and the country's contribution to the world.
The Kappa Sigma fraternity will host a haunted house, "Nightmare on Penn Street," on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 7-9 p.m. in the fraternity house located at 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. in Boulder. Tickets are $5 at the door and the proceeds will benefit University Hill Elementary School.
