A groundbreaking ceremony on Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. will kick off a $63 million project to renovate and expand the Student Recreation Center at the University of Colorado Boulder.
The ceremony, located on the pool patio, will include light refreshments and remarks by Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano and other campus and student leaders at 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Holiday Festival tickets go on sale on Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. A lively program of beloved seasonal music and festive holiday decorations in Macky Auditorium inspire sold-out audiences to make the Holiday Festival a favorite annual tradition. Performances are Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. The College of Music's choirs, orchestra, ensembles, and faculty soloists invite you to share this joyous celebration of the season with your family and friends.
On Oct. 10, CU Athletics and the CU GLBTQ Resource Center will present Hudson Taylor, 3-time NCAA wrestling champion, to speak on GLBTQ allyship in athletics. The educational talk will be held in Eaton Humanities, room 1B50 at 7 p.m.
