The $CORE Program, coordinated by the CU Environmental Center, provides free energy assessments to student renters living in Boulder. The assessment takes around an hour and is scheduled at your convenience. Along with installing free energy-saving widgets such as CFLs, low-flow showerheads and weather stripping, a technician will sit down with you and discuss ways you can save money on energy bills.
Don't miss the largest career fair of the fall semester. Companies like Shell, Lockheed Martin, Goldman Sachs, Brocade Communications, General Motors-IT and many more will be on the CU campus, Tuesday, Sept. 25 in the UMC (second floor) from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This event is open and free to CU-Boulder students and alumni.

The Changing Energy Mix, a half-day conference exploring some of the dramatic changes taking place in the energy sector, with particular attention to the U.S. electric power sector will be held Oct. 23 from 2:30 - 6:45 p.m. in the University of Colorado Law School, Room 101. FERC Commissioner Tony Clark will will close the conference with a keynote address.
The event is co-sponsored by The Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment.
